Against the backdrop of a growing trend to restrict the right of expression, critique, and protest in several countries in Europe, the research group "Radical Spaces" from the Centre of Interdisciplinary Peace and Conflict Studies (Interact), among a variety of research centres, journals and standing groups of the European social movement studies community, signed an open letter on freedom of expression and protest.
